CBGa is one of the many compounds found in the cannabis plant which has specific immune supporting properties. Research has shown that cannabigerolic acid (CBGa) binds to certain proteins that cause illness. Through this binding effect, CBGa can potentially offer new avenues to support immune health.
This non-psychoactive, difficult-to-extract molecule, in addition to it's exceptionally potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain relieving) activity, has been found to block a critical step in the process viruses such as COVID-19 use to infect humans by binding to its spike protein*.
